The Program for this meeting will be a presentation by James Spawn entitled “Inside the Palmer House”.
The Palmer House was certainly one of the oldest buildings in North Kansas City. Built in 1887 by Willard E. Winner, the flat iron brick building was three stories tall and stood near 10th and Swift Street. Sadly, it was razed in 1973. With its unique floor plan and many tenants, it offered many tales about the times in North Kansas City during its 85-year life span.
The meeting will be held in the NKC Fire Department Fire Station located at 1815 Howell Street, North Kansas City, MO 64116. The meeting starts at 10:00 am on April 22, 2017. Members and guests are welcome!
